The video opens with a panoramic shot of the Coppito barracks parade ground, just renamed Piazza 6 Aprile. The representatives of the 40 delegations that have attended the last day of the G8 proceedings have just taken part in the unveiling of the square’s new plaque and the minute’s silence in memory of the earthquake victims. We see them take up their positions for the final family photo, ushered by Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi and surrounded by a throng of reporters and photographers. A tracking shot and a final panoramic shot show all the 2009 G8 Summit’s participants grouped for the official snap.
