Access to the Media Village
The Media Village will open at 9.30 am on 7 July and will remain open around the clock until the business connected with the Summit proceedings has been completed.
A non-stop, round-the clock shuttle service will be provided to bring the accredited media teams in. The shuttle service will set out both from the L’Aquila shopping mall interchange area and the Villaggio Mediterraneo in Chieti.
On 5 and 6 July, from 7 pm until 10 pm, vehicle access will be restricted to corporate vehicles required for broadcasting purposes and those required to unload Media Centre outfitting material, once the vehicles concerned have been cleared through security.
The security inspections will be conducted at the Via Saragat roundabout (L’Aquila Ovest exit then S.S.17 following signs to Rieti, first roundabout on the right); once they have been cleared, the vehicles will be issued with an ad hoc temporary pass granting access to the Media Village.
Access to the Summit premises on temporary badges will cease on the morning of 7 July, from which time only holders of yellow media badges or dark blue delegation badges will allowed in.
