Press Schedule - Visits to earthquake hit areas
The following press schedule refers to the visits planned on 8 July to the areas damaged by the earthquake .
In order to participate the pools, must apply via e-mail by 8.30 pm on 7 July to pool@protezionecivile.it stating:
- name of publication/broadcast
- forename and surname
- mobile phone number
- capacity (photographer/cameraman)
- pool number (up to a maximum of one)
Pool 1 Onna - Visit of the German Chancellor and the Italian Prime MInister - Pools are requested to meet at the following location and time: Media Village Pool Meeting Point at 10 a.m.
Pool 2 L’Aquila - Visit of the President of the United States and the Italian Prime Minister - Pools are requested to meet at the following location and time: Media Village Pool Meeting Point at 16.30 p.m.
Pool 3 L’Aquila - Visit of the President of the Russian Federation and the Italian Prime Minister - Pools are requested to meet at the following location and time: Media Village Pool Meeting Point at 17.15 p.m.
In addition to audio and video coverage provided by Host Broadcaster RAI, a system of pool media , will be granted for all events open to the press and video-photo shots. The media pools will be provided with specific pool cards in addition to their press badges. The number of members forming the media pools isestablished by the G8 Press Office according to availability of spaces.
Further information on the time of official arrivals and other events related to the Summit will be published on this website as soon as available.
