Events
Numerous appointments and events, ranging from the Heads of State and Government's spouse programme to the concert given by L'Aquila's "Alfredo Casella" Music Conservatory and exhibitions of works of art and design, awaited Italy's guests during the Summit.
The events in question were specially designed to testify to Italy's and Abruzzo's cultural wealth, with a strong link with the region hosting the Summit.
The two exhibitions - entitled "Beautiful L'Aquila Can Never Perish" and "The Italian Art of Excellence" - remained open even after the G8, and the Summit venue itself was also open to visitors.
